The Eagles improved to 3-1 with a 26-24 win over the Chargers on Sunday afternoon. It looked like it was going to be a breeze with the Eagles with the Eagles jumping out to a 13-0 lead but the Chargers hung tough and were only down 16-10 at halftime. The Chargers did outscore the eagles in the second half but not enough to come away with the win. After the Chargers cut it to 26-24 the Eagles controlled the ball for the last 6:44 to seal the win. LeGarrette Blount ran for 136 of the Eagles 214 rushing yards, Wendell Smallwood ranfor34 yards and a TD. Alshon Jeffery caught an 8 yard TD pass from Carson Wentz, and Jake Elliott connected on four field goals. Would have liked to have seen two more TD’s and two less field goals.
