Wayne Simmonds goal just :44 in OT gave the Flyers a 3-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night. Nolan Patrick picked up his first NHL point with an assist on Ivan Provorov’s goal that gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead. The Ducks would tie it on a goal by Antoine Vermette. Sean Couturier gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead with a goal in the second period. Cam Fowler’s short handed goal in the third tied it again at 2-2. Then in OT Wayne Simmonds gave the Flyers a lead that the Ducks couldn’t comeback from. Flyers (2-1-0) – Ducks (1-0-1)
