First the good news. The Eagles clinched the NFC East with a 43-35 win over the Rams on Sunday afternoon. Now the news nobody wants to here. Carson Wentz left the game with what is being reported by various sources as a left ACL tear which we all know means done for the season. Before leaving the game Wentz was 23/41, 291 yards, 4 TD’s and 1 interception. Nick Foles replaced Wentz and led the Eagles on two scoring drives (field goals) that gave the Eagles a 37-35lead late in the fourth quarter. Brandon Graham returned a Ram’s last chance lateral for a TD to end the scoring and the game. Jared Goff, the player picked ahead of Carson Wentz was 16/26, 199 yards, 2 TD’s and one costly fumble. The Eagles improve to 11-2 while the Rams drop to 9-4.
