There are a few new head coaches, and a few head coaches not going anywhere, and a few who could be home at the end of the season. Here are a few coaches The Small Sports Blog thinks will start the 2018 on the “Head Coach Hot Seat’.

1. Jason Garrett, Cowboys – Would love to see Jerry Jones keep Jason Garrett around, but another season out of the playoffs and Jerry Jones might show Garrett the door.

2. Jay Gruden, Redskins – Same deal in Washington. Will another mediocre season with no playoffs make Dan Snyder want to show Gruden the door.

3. Todd Bowles, Jets – Could be time for the Jets to make a change at head coach at the end of the season.
