After the Nationals jumped out to a 3-0 lead the Phillies used a 5 run fifth inning to take a 5-3 lead. Jose Bautista put the Phillies up 6-3 with his first home run as a Phillie one the eighth inning. The top of the ninth was ugly. The Phillies bullpen , primarily Seranthony Dominguez, and Luis Garcia allowed the Nationals to come back and the the game 6-6. Juan Soto’s second home run of the completed the come back  to give the Nationals a 7-6 win, and sweep of the double header. Phillies: 74-70, Nationals: 73-72.
