The Flyers were in L.A. to take on the Kings on Thursday night which meant some late night hockey for easy coast Flyers fans. If your a Flyers fan and went to bed before the game was over you woke up to some good news, the Flyers skated away with a 5-2 win over the Kings to pick up their second straight win. The Flyers held a 1-0 lead after one on a goal by Ivan Provorov (2). After former Flyers Jeff Carter (3) tied it 1-1 Wayne Simmonds (7), and Oskar Lindblom (3) scored to put the Flyers up 3-1. The Kings would get a goal from Ilya Kovalchuk (4) to make it 3-2 Flyers at the end of two. The Flyers would get insurance goals from Claude Giroux (4), and Robert Nash (3) to seal the win. Flyers: 6-7-0, Kings: 3-8-1.
