The Flyers ended their losing streak at eight games after a 2-1 win over the Stars on Thursday night. After a scoreless first period Travis Konecny (11), and James van Riemsdyk (7) scored to put the Flyers up 2-0. Jamie Benn (18) ended Carter Hart’s shutout bid with a goal late in the third to cut it to 2-1. Jakub Voracek’s insurance goal was disallowed due to goalie interference. Flyers: 16-22-6, Stars: 23-18-4.
