That was one sweet way for the Phillies to complete the four game sweep of the Mets on Thursday afternoon. Thanks to Aaron Nola’s pitching (7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 K), and a Bryce Harper home run the Phillies took a 1-0 lead into the ninth. Unfortunately Hector Neris couldn’t finish it, and the Mets took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the ninth. Maikel Franco would hit a two run homer to the the game at 3-3. Then Jean Segura would give the Phillies their second straight walk off win with a three run homer to beat the Mets 6-3. Phillies (43-38): HR – Harper (14), Franco (12), Segura (10). RBI – Segura 3 (38), Franco 2 (39), Harper (55). Mets (37-45): HR – Frazier (10). RBI – Frazier 2 (32), Rosario (41).
