The Phillies head into the All Star break on a high note after taking the series finale from the Mets by the score of 8-3 on Sunday afternoon. The Phillies held a 4-0 lead after one inning, and we’re up 6-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth. Aaron Nola went 6.2 innings, giving up 3 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned run to pick up the win and improve to 8-2. Jay Bruce belted two home runs, and drove in four runs. Ryhs Hoskins drove in two runs with a double, and home run. J.T. Realmuto drove in two runs with a double. Phillies (47-43), HR – Bruce 2 (24), Hoskins (20).
