The Phillies took game 1 from the Giants by the score of 4-2 on Monday night. Drew Slyly (2-5) went 7 innings giving up just four hits to pick up the win. The Phillies went up 2-0 in the fourth in a Maikel Franco ground out, and an Adam Haseley double. Rhys Hoskins (23) made it 4-0 with a two run homer in the fifth. The Giants cut it to 4-2 on Brandon Belt (12), and Steven Vogt (5) sole home runs in the eighth. Hector Neris (19) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.
