The Pirates took a 2-0 lead in the first on a Bryan Reynolds (14) two run homer. RBI singles by Adam Haseley, and Corey Dickerson gave the Phillies a 3-2 in at the end of four innings. Colin Moran (13) gave the Pirates a 4-3 lead with a two run homer in the top of the sixth. Logan Morrison’s (1) pinch hit home run in the bottom of the sixth tied it 4-4. Rhys  Hoskins’  error on a potential inning ending double play allowed the Pirates to take a 5-4 which would turn out to be the final score.
