This is not the type of game you want from your ace when you are in a fight to make the playoffs. Aaron Nola was roughed up by the Reds in the first two innings giving up five runs. The Phillies managed to fight back and tie it 5-5 thanks to two run homers by Logan Morrison (2), and J.T. Realmuto (21), and solo home run by Jay Bruce (25). No sooner had the Phillies tied the game the bullpen gave it up. Jose Alvarez have up a home run to Jose Iglesias (10) that out the Reds up 6-5. Then Blake Parker, after being saved by a home run robbing catch by Adam Haseley, surrendered a two run homer to Reds RP Michael Lorenzen that put the Reds up 8-5. With the loss the Phillies win streak ends at three games.
