
The Phillies snapped their three game losing streak with a 5-0 win over the Mets on Saturday night. Cesar Hernandez started the game with a home run to give the Phillies A quick 1-0 lead. The Phillies added four more runs in the fourth on RBI singles by Cesar Hernandez, and J.T. Realmuto, and a RBI double by Corey Dickerson. Drew Smyly held the Mets for seven innings giving up just four hits, walking two, and striking out six. Cole Irvin, and Nick Pivetta each pitched a scoreless innings in relief.
