One of these days the Flyers will realize it’s ok to win a game in regulation, and not cough up leads so they can take their chances in a shootout. Sean Couturier (6), and Ivan Provorov (4) made it 2-0 Flyers after one. Solar Lindlom (9) made it 3-0 Flyers after two. The Islanders would the the game in the third on goals by Anthony Bovillier 2 (5,6), and Mathew Barzal (9). The Islanders scored the only goal in the shootout to skate away with a 4-3 come from behind win.
