It wasn’t the best start for the Flyers finding themselves in an early 2-0 hole, but the Flyers were able to come back to avoid being blown away by the Hurricanes. After the Hurricanes jumped out to the 2-0 lead Claude Giroux (6), and Ivan Provorov (5) tied it 2-2. Morgan Frost (2) have the Flyers a 3-2 lead. The Hurricanes would the it 3-3, but Claude Giroux’s (7) second goal, the eventual game winner, put the Flyers up 4-3. Kevin Hayes (5) added an empty net goal that have the Flyers a 5-3 win that snapped their four game losing streak.
