Make it three straight wins for the Flyers (14-7-5) after a 6-1 win over the Red Wings (7-18-3) on Friday afternoon. The loss for the Red Wings is their eighth straight. Scott Laughton (2) gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead. Robby Fabbri (5) scored the Red Wings’ first goal in three games to the it 1-1. Shane Gostisbehere (2) scored late in the first to give the Flyers a 2-1 lead after one. Sean Couturier (8) made it 3-1 with the only goal of the second period. Kevin Hayes (8), and Oskar Lindblom (10) scored in the first minute of the third to make it 5-1 Flyers. James van Riemsdyk (5) finished off the scoring late in the third.
