The Flyers picked up their third straight win beating the Senators 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday night. The Flyers took a 2-0 lead on goals by Kevin Hayes (9), and James van Riemsdyk’s (11) first goal of the game. The Senators responded by scoring the next three goals, Tyler Ennis (9), Mark Borowiecki (4), Anthony Duclair (21) to take a 3-2 lead. Jakub Voracek (8) tied it 3-3, then James van Riemsdyk’s (12) second goal of the game put the Flyers up 4-3. Tyler Ennis’ (10) second goal of the game tied it 4-4. Sean Couturier scored the only goal in the shootout to give the Flyer’s the win.
