Christmas came a few days early for Eagles fans after their favorite football team played Scrooge and beat the Cowboys 17-9 on Sunday to take over first place in the NFC East. In what was being called his biggest game of his career Carson Wentz went 31/40, 319 yards, 1 TD, and ran six times for twenty two yards. Miles Sanders had 20 carries for 79 yards, and 1 TD. Dallas Goedert had 9 receptions for 91 yards, and a TD. If losing to the Eagles wasn’t bad enough for the Cowboys they were stuck in Philly for a few extra hours thanks to a problem with their plane. Who says Santa doesn’t exist.
