The Flyers (21-11-5) used a four goal third period to beat the Rangers (17-15-4) 5-1 on Monday night to extend their win streak to four games. After a scoreless first period Jesper Fast (6) broke the ice and put the Rangers up 1-0. Travis Sanheim’s (3) first goal of the game tied it 1-1. Kevin Hayes’ (10) first goal of the game put the Flyers up 2-1. Travis Sanheim (4) made it 3-1, Kevin Hayes (11) made it 4-1, and Nicolas Aube-Kubel (1) made it 5-1 with his first NHL goal.
