The 76ers ended 2019 with their third straight loss losing to the Pacers 115 – 97 in a New Year’s Eve afternoon game. Joel Embiid sat this one out. The 76ers were down 29-27 at the end of one then were outscored by the Pacers 38-16 and found themselves in a 24 point hole (67-43) at halftime. The 76ers weren’t able to dig out of that hole in the second half. Maybe the 76ers New Year’s resolution should be to show a little more interest in playing basketball.
