The lead didn’t last long, Tomas Tartar (17) scored :18 second later to tie it 1-1 it was all Canadiens after that. Ilya Kovalchuk (5), and Artturi Lehkonen (11) put the Canadiens up 3-1 with second period goals. Ilya Kovalchuk’s (6) second goal of the game in the third period would end the scoring, and ice the game for the Canadiens.
