The Flyers extended their win streak to six games after a 5-3 win over the Rangers in a Sunday matinee. Powerplay goals by Matt Niskanen (8), and Sean Couturier (21) along with a shorthanded goal by Michael Raffl (7) gave the Flyers a 3-0 lead at the end of the first period. Derek Grant’s (15) first goal as a Flyers made it 4-0 early in the second. Mika Zibanejd’s (31) first goal of the game curt it to 4-1. Travis Konecney (23) scored the Flyers third powerplay goal of the game fora 5-1 lead. The Rangers managed a couple of goals, Buchnevich (15), Zibanejad (32) late to make 5-3.
