
The Flyers streak is now eight games after a 4-1 win over the Hurricanes on Thursday night. The win moves the Flyers into a first place tie with the Capitals, lost 6-5 in OT to the Rangers, in the Metropolitan Division. The Flyers led 1-0 after one on Ivan Provorov’s (13) goal. It was 2-0 after two thanks to a Michael Raffle (8) goal. Justin Williams (4) cut it to 2-1. Nicolas Aube-Kubel (7), and Sean Couturier scored :26 apart to put the game on ice.
