The Phillies dropped 2 out 3 to the minor league Marlins after a 11-6 loss in the series finale on Sunday afternoon. The Phillies managed to retake 5-4 thanks to a wild pitch in the bottom of the second. The Marlins took a 6-5 lead in the fourth on a RBI triple by Miguel Rojas, and a RBI double by Magneuris Sierra. Reggie McClain came into the game in the fifth and his first pitch turned into a Brian Anderson (1) three run homer, and the Marlins went up 9-6.
