
The Phillies couldn’t complete the sweep of the Yankees losing game two by the score of 3-1. Aaron Nola ( 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 12 K) deserved a better fate but the bullpen let him down. The Yankees took a 1-0 lead on Luke Voit’s (4) solo home run in the second inning. The Phillies tied it 1-1 in the bottom of the second on Andrew Knapp’s RBI single. Tommy Hunter came into the game in the seventh and surrendered two runs. The Phillies went down in order in the bottom of the seventh.
