The 76ers needed to fill the back up roll for Joel Embiid, and it looks like they found their man. It is being reported the the 76ers and Howard have agreed to a 1 year deal worth the veteran minimum exception of $2.6 million. Howard 34, is an eight time All Star, three time defensive player of the year, and won his first NBA Championship with the Lakers this past season. Looks like another good move for Daryl Morey, anyway you want to look at it this should help Joel Embiid. Interesting to see where the experts rank the 76ers in the Eastern Conference heading into the season.
