The Phillies have announced the hiring of Caleb Cotham as their new pitching coach. Cotham who is 33 pitched for Joe Girardi with the Yankees, and with the Reds in 2015-16 making 35 appearances. Recently Cotham was the Reds assistant pitching coach, and director of pitching. It may not sound like he has a lot of experience but consider Trevor Bauer of the Reds was named NL Cy Young Award winner this could turn out to be a good hire.
