Ok. Doug Pederson announced on Tuesday afternoon that Jalen Hurts will be the starter against the Saints on Sunday. Can’t wait to see what happens because you know if the Eagles beat the Saints on Sunday the so called QB controversy will on it get worse than it is now. Now being an Eagles fan what does this mean, nothing much. The way The Small Sports Blog looks at it is the Eagles have come around to the idea that they are not going to win the division, and to justify drafting Hurts in the second round for what ever reason, will let him start the rest of the season. No Carson Wentz hasn’t played well since the first half of the season opener against Washington when they were up 17-0, but every other aspect of this team has been just as bad since then. One thing to look for. If they game plan better for Hurts than they did for Wentz. It will say a lot about the coaching staff.
