Can any sports fan out there honestly say they didn’t see this coming especially after Kirk Herbstreit’s comments about on College Game Day? Let the conspiracy theories begin. What will this do to the Big Ten Championship considering you needed to play 6 games to qualify, and Ohio St will have played only 5. Wil the Big Ten change the rule allow Ohio St in with only five or will they allow them to schedule another game? Scheduling another game would be the best answer to avoid the arguments about the Big Ten playing favorites with Ohio St, but then again when Nebraska tried to schedule a game the Big Ten said no. Could they play this game in a couple of weeks? It will be interesting to see how it plays out. If Ohio St. is kept out of the Big Ten Championship, and CFP it will be real interesting to see what happens the next time these two teams meet.
