Thanks to the strange scheduling the NHL was forced to due because of the covid pandemic, the “Battle of Pa.” between the Flyers and Penguins would happen three times this week. After the Flyers dropped the first meeting this week to the Penguins 5-2, Thursday night’s game looked like it was going to be a complete disaster for the Flyers. Kris Letang (5), Mark Friedman (1), and Jared McCann (4) all scored within the first five minutes of the game to give the Penguins a 3-0 lead. Brian Elliott, and the Flyers would settle down and not allow the Penguins another goal. Sean Couturier (6) scored midway through the first period to cut it to 3-1, and start the comeback. Claude Giroux (2) would score the only goal of the second period to cut it to 3-2, and just like that it was a game again. Scott Laughton’s (6) tied the game 3-3 with just over six minutes left. Claude Giroux (3) would score his second goal of the game to complete the comeback, and give the Flyers a 4-3 win.

2. N. Adube-Kubel, RW Flyers: 0 G, 2 A, 2 Pts.
