The Flyers came into Monday night’s matchup against the Bruins having lost the previous five games they played. Considering the Flyers are chasing the Bruins for the last playoff spot, and they play two more times this week they needs to end the losing streak. It started off good with Travis Konecny (8) giving the Flyers a 1-0 lead about halfway through the first period. Karson Kuhlman (2) tied it 1-1 late in the first. Patrice Bergeron (12) gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead just :46 into the second. The score stayed that way until Sean Couturier (11) tied it 2-2 about seven minutes into the third, and the game would go to OT. After Patrice Bergeron fell Travis Sanhiem found himself on a breakaway. Sanhiem (2) would score to give the Flyers a 3-2 win.
