As the NHL season heads into it’s home stretch it’s time for The Small Sports Blog to take a look at the team’s in the running for it’s prestigious Toilet Bowl Award for being the worse team in the NHL. After suffering through an 18 game losing streak the Sabres are The front runners to take home the award this year having just 26 points. There are a few teams still in the running. The Ottawa Senators are right behind the Sabres with 32 points, then the Anaheim Ducks with 33 points followed by the Devils (34), Canucks (35), and the Red Wings (36). The Flames (37), and Blue Jackets (39) right now are long shots.
