
There’s no place like home for the Phillies as they improve to 6-1 at Citizen’s Bank Park with a 9-2 win over the Cardinals on Friday night. The story of the game was the second inning. The Phillies scored six runs in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead. The Phillies would go up 8-0 after a J.T Realmuto (2) two run homer in the seventh. The Cardinals got on the board on a Justin Williams (1) two run finger in the eight. Andrew McCutchen finished off the scoring with his third RBI of the night with a single in the eighth. Phillies improve to 7-6, and the Cardinals drop to 6-7.
