
The Phillies managed to avoid being swept by the Giants on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-5 walk off win. The Phillies took a 3-0 lead in the second thanks to a Mickey Moniak (1) three run homer. The Giants cut it to 3-1 in the fifth on Mauricio Dubon’s line out. The Phillies went up 4-1 in the sixth in Nick Maton’s single, and Alex Dickerson’s fielding error. Former Phillie Darin Ruf (3) three run homer, and Alex Dickerson’s RBI single in the seventh have the Giants a 5-4 lead. Bryce Harper (4) tied it 5-5 in the eighth with a solo home run. Andrew Knapp’s RBI single in the bottom of the ninth scored Bryce Harper to give the Phillies a 6-5 win.
