Just when it looked like the Devils would end their losing streak at nine games Claude Giroux reached into his bag of tricks, and said not so fast. With the Devils leading 3-1 Giroux scored a pair of goals in the final two minutes (22 seconds apart) to tie the game and send it to OT. After a scoreless OT the game headed to a shootout. The Flyers outscored the Devils 3-2 in the shootout to skate away with a 4-3 come from behind win, and hand the Devils their tenth straight loss.
