Unfortunately round 3 goes to the N.Y. Mets in 12 innings 4-3. Adam Eaton did his job, 3 runs, 5 hits, in 6 innings. The bullpen did their job keeping the Mets off the scoreboard for 5 innings. With the exception of Pedro Feliz and Ryan Howard, the story of this game was the inability of the Phillies to deliver the knockout blow. The Phillies left 26 runners on base, thats incredible, your not going to win many games leaving that many on base and only scoring 3 runs. The Phillies really need Jimmy Rollins back in the lineup considering his replacement Eric Bruntlett left 7 men on base himself. One more thing, it looked like Jose Reyes was out at the plate. Three down fifteen more to go. It should only get better.
