The Flyers did a good job holding Alex Ovechkin top one goal, unfortunately it turned out to be the game winner. The Flyers entered the third period with a 4-2 lead thanks to Danny Briere and Vinny Prospal two goals each then let the Capitals score three straight goals. I guess the Flyers thought a two goal lead was enough and stopped playing offense, brilliant move. Mike Green scored the first two goals in the third for the Capitals, then Flyers D Lesse Kukkonen caughed the puck up in front of Marty Biron and Ovechkin made the Flyers pay for that mistake. Hopefully in game 2 the Flyers remember the game is sixty minutes long and not forty.
