Round four goes to the Mets by the score of 6-4. Johan Santana lived up to his billing by keeping the Phillies hitters off balance most of the night (10 strikouts). Cole Hamels took a couple of hits early but settled down. Hamels and Santana would both run into trouble in the eight inning. Once the bullpens took over the bats woke up. The Mets added three runs in the top of the eighth to go up 5-1. The Philllies counter-punched in the bottom of the eight with three runs on a greg Dobbs three run homer to cut it to 5-4. Thats as close as the Phillies would get as the Mets added another run in the nineth, then Billy Wagner sealed it with his third save of the years. The Phillies will try and snao this three game losing streak against the Mets on Saturday afternoon.
