Round 6 goes to the Phillies by the score of 5-4. The Phillies came into the game having lost four in a row to the Mets. Chase Utley officially became the fan’s facvorite for MVP after hitting 2 home runs and driving in 4 runs. You could’ve said he singlehandedly beat the Mets but Phillies starter Adam Eaton gave up four runs after Utley had just put them ahead 4-0. With the score tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh pinch hitter Pedro Feliz hit his third home run of the season to put the Phillies back on top 5-4. After a shakey start to the nineth inning Brad Lidge picked up his third save. Lidge should take SS Eric Bruntlett out for a drink for his diving stop of what looked like a sure game tying single off the bat of Carlos Beltran.
