The Sixers came into this game losing 4 straight and 5 of their last six regular season games and feel to 7th in the NBA Eastern Conference that gave them the right to face the Detroit Pistons in the first round. Its doubtful that anyone realistically thought the Sixers could go and win game 1 against the Pistons. The Sports Den didn’t. The Sports Den just kept their fingers crossed hoping they would keep it close. But the Sixers did do it, even coming from 15 pts down to beat the Pistons 90 -86. Now they have home court advantage and a 1-0 lead in the series. Not too bad for a team most experts probably didn’t think would be here. Now this series will be a little more enjoyable to watch, the Sixers won at least 1 game. Let’s see what happens now.
