Ok the first rumor was the Philadelphia Flyers were going to make an offer for Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning. That rumor fizzled out when the Lightning announced they would match any offer for Stamkos, and what the Flyers would have to offer (lenth of contract) would be too much. Now there is a rumor that the Flyers are putting together a deal that would include players and draft picks just in case the Lightning and Stamkos can’t work out a new contract. Stay Tuned.
Could a line of Claude Giroux, JVR, and Steven Stamkos be in the Flyers future?
