The Phillies  dropped their eighth straight game losing to the Tigers 12-4. The Phillies had a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth where the Tigers tied it up at 3-3. Then the Tigers put the game away by scoring eight in the sixth. The Phillies end their nine game road trip at 1-8, that will probably turn the Phillies into sellers instead of buyers at the trade deadline, and drop to seven games below .500 at 49-56.
