The Flyers were back home at the Wells Fargo Center after a disappointing six game road trip to take on the Montreal Canadiens. Michael Raffl’s second goal of the season gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead at the end of one. Claude Giroux’s sixth goal of the season put the Flyers up 2-0 after two. The final seconds of the game became a little bumpy after the Canadiens Alex Galchenyuk scored to cut it to 2-1 with :55 left., but that’s how it would end. The Flyers improve to 14-15-3, and jump to the middle of the pack in the Metropolitan Division for now.
