The Flyers kicked off their three game road trip to California in Anaheim to take on the league leading Ducks. The Ducks led 2-1 after one, and 3-1 after two.The Flyers cut it to 3-2 early in the third, and had a chance to tie it on the power play, but Kimmo Timonen’s pass turned into a shorthanded goal for the Ducks to make it 4-2. The Ducks would add an empty net goal to make it 5-2, and the Flyers scored with :10 left to make it 5-3. The Flyers drop to 26-23-6, and right now are on the outside looking in when it come to playoff positions. The Ducks improve their NHL best record to 40-11-5.
