Not exactly the way the Flyers wanted to start after the Olympic break. It started off good with the Flyers taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. Unfortunately the Sharks went on a feeding frenzy in the second period scoring 5 goals to take a 6-2 lead into their second intermission. Both teams added goals in the third period to make it a 7-3 final. Hopefully this was just a case of being a little rusty for the Flyers and not a sign of things to come.
