On a night when most fans were caught up in March Madness the Flyers went out and beat the Dallas Stars 4-2 to pick up their fourth straight win, and hand the Stars their fourth straight loss. Wayne Simmonds 2, Mark Streit , and Michael raffle scored for the Flyers, and Jaimie Benn scored both of the Stars’ goals.The Flyers improve to 37-25-7, and stay three points ahead of the Blue Jackets and Rangers for second in the Metropolitan Division. The Flyers also improved to 14-9-2 against the Western Conference. With the way this season started who would have thought Flyers fans would be talking about the playoffs, Claude Giroux an MVP candidate, and Craig Berube possibly being Coach of the Year.
