The NHL held it’s draft lottery on Tuesday night for the teams that didn’t make the playoffs. The Florida Panthers won the lottery and will have the #1 pick in the 2014 Draft to be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly on June 27 and 28. The Buffalo Sabres, winners of the prestigious Sports Den Toilet Bowl Award for being the worse in the NHL in 2013/14, will have the second pick. The New Jersey Devils are being punished for playing shenanigans with the salary cap, and will pick 30th in the first round instead of being in the top half with the rest of the teams that didn’t make the playoffs.
