The Phillies will be trying to snap their six game losing streak, while the Reds will be trying to snap a two game losing streak. The Reds have won five of their last eight games, while the Phillies have lost eight of their last ten games. Both teams are on the outside looking in at any chance of a playoff spot with the Phillies trailing the Braves by seven games in the NL East, and the Reds trailing the Brewers by seven an a half in the NL Central. The Phillies took two out of three from the Reds in their first meeting in May in Philly.
