Sam Hinkie

The 2014 NBA draft is over and in the words of 76ers GM Sam Hinkie be patient 76er fans. Be patient and wait until the 2015/16 season to see if Jeol Embiid will be healthy enough to take the court to prove he was worth the #3 pick. Be patient and wait until 2016/17 season to see if Dario Saric was worth trading 10th pick Elfrid Payton for, provided Saric actually comes to the NBA. Be patient and and hope a couple of the second round picks make the ream. Be patient through another brutal season that will lead to another draft lottery, and draft that will see the 76ers draft a first rounder who can come in and play right away. Be patient and hopefully this all leads to a championship caliber team in the not too, too distant future, and that Sam Hinkie and Brett Brown are still around to enjoy it with the fans if it happens according to Sam’s plan. If all this talk about patients doesn’t pan out, I’ll be glad my name isn’t Sam Hinkie.
