The Phillies are in Washington to take on the Nationals in a four game weekend series. The Phillies are 4-6 in their last ten games, and the Nationals are 6-4 in their last ten games. This is the fourth meeting between the teams with the Nationals holding a 6-3 lead in the season series after winning five of the last six games. There is no love lost between these teams especially since the Nationals went out of their way to make it harder for Phillies fans to attend games in Washington. The Nationals lead the Braves by 1.5 games in the division, so here is hoping the Phillies can win enough games this weekend to knock the Nationals out of first place.
